Ansgar Dodt

Ansgar Dodt is VP Worldwide Sales for the Software Monetization division at Gemalto and has been with the company since December 2005. Dodt joined the company following Gemalto’s (formerly SafeNet) acquisition of Eracom, where he held the position of managing director on the executive board for four years.

 

Dodt has a proven track record of successfully managing businesses to meet major growth and profit goals. In his time as MD of Eracom, Dodt successfully positioned the company as a supplier to the smart card industry, doubled global sales in disc and file encryption and quadrupled sales per capita in the EMEA region. Prior to this, he worked as MD at Pari Capital, the former owner of Eracom, and as senior engagement manager for McKinsey, specializing in the high-tech sector.

 


Todd Steel

Director, Product Management in the Software Monetization division at Gemalto

A member of the Gemalto (formerly SafeNet) team for more than a decade, Todd Steel leads the product management efforts associated with Gemalto’s suite of software licensing and entitlement management cloud services.

 

Prior to his focus on cloud services for the software industry Todd has held multiple product management roles all focused on product lines designed to better service the licensing, entitlement management, and software protection needs of the software industry.

Jamshed “Jam” Khan currently serves as Vice President of Professional Services for the Software Monetization division at Gemalto. Jam leads a team that is responsible for providing consulting services, product deployments, program management, and customer support while ensuring customer success globally.

 

Jam joined Gemalto (formerly SafeNet) in 2004 as part of the merger with Rainbow Technologies, and has over 17 years of experience specializing in the field of license and entitlement management. He has had roles in Engineering, Technical Sales and Product Management, giving him a broad perspective on the entitlement management market and the criteria required for customer success. Jam works directly with customers worldwide and is a frequent speaker at events held globally.

 

Jam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from UCLA.

 


Shlomo Weiss

Shlomo Weiss is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Software Monetization division at Gemalto. In this role, Shlomo manages product development, cloud service operations, strategic planning, and go to market activities for Gemalto’s Software Monetization solutions. Prior to his current role, Shlomo was VP of Business Development , responsible for global strategic partnerships and for driving new business initiatives.

 

Shlomo joined Gemalto (formerly SafeNet) via the acquisition of Aladdin Knowledge Systems in 2009, where he headed strategic business for Aladdin’s Software DRM unit. Prior to Aladdin, Shlomo held senior leadership positions in business development, marketing, and sales at Emblaze Mobile, Comverse’s Wydeband unit, and Multiple Zones.


Bill Graber

Director of Marketing, Trimble Navigation Limited

Bill Graber manages the ecommerce and provisioning systems for Trimble Civil Engineering and Construction. He has been with Trimble for seven years. During that time he has been Construction Services Marketing Director, an AEMP committee member and a Westminster Legacy Foundation board member.  Bill has held marketing director positions with Direct Alliance, an Insight Enterprise company, and Gateway Inc., where he managed several emerging technology platforms including digital services. As part of the leadership teams for Gateway and Trimble, Graber acquired experience in international and global marketing. Graber holds bachelor degrees in mathematics and education.

Laila Arad-Allan

Director of Product Management, Software Monetization, Gemalto

Laila Arad-Allan is the Director of Product Management for Gemalto’s Software Monetization division.

 

In this role, Laila leads all product-related activities including product and go-to-market strategies, and aligning product development with emerging market trends.

 

Prior to her position at Gemalto, Laila held the VP Products position at Visonic, where she led the design and implementation of a groundbreaking wireless technology for alarm systems. Before her role at Visonic, Laila held the position of VP Digital Rights Management at Aladdin Knowledge Systems, having served many years as the business unit’s Director of Product Management. During this period, she contributed to increasing Aladdin’s market share, bringing the company to be the world leader in its field.

 

In 2012, Laila initiated and founded a successful community volunteers program for greeting tourists visiting Tel Aviv, which received recognition and support from the Tel Aviv municipality. She is still a board member to this day.


Vickie White

Director of Virtual Products, Gemalto

Vickie White recently stepped into the newly-created role of Director of Virtual Products within Gemalto’s IDSS division. This role was created based on the recognition that Gemalto’s offering is transitioning more and more from hardware-based solutions toward software and service based solutions. Vickie is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing a new organization tailored to operationalize virtual products, to include: standalone software, licenses, cloud/provisioned services and hybrid (hardware + virtual) products. In this role, Vickie is helping to create the vision and direction for Gemalto’s virtual product offering. She is working to gain cross-functional support to enable the entire virtual product life cycle from discovery through deployment and end of life management. Vickie’s key role is to set standards based on best practices. More specifically, her goal is to eliminate the practice of creating multiple solutions for similar offerings and to enable faster deployment with lower costs and with uncompromised quality. Her approach to this is to create a set of standards and automated systems which provide a “plug and play” type of experience for new product introductions.

 

Vickie joined SafeNet (now Gemalto) in 2006. Prior to her current role, Vickie has held leadership positions in the areas of Operations, Quality, Customer Program Management, and Business Process Improvement. Vickie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from Loyola University.


Rishi Katdare

Sr. Program Manager, Head of Licensing Operations, NetApp

With over 15 years in Enterprise Software, Rishi Katdare is an industry expert in Software Monetization.

Currently in this 7th year at NetApp, Rishi built a team of Licensing Operations and is accountable for NetApp’s licensing solutions for internal and external users. His team partners cross-functionally to support NetApp’s Product teams, Channel Partners, Global Alliances, Engineering DevOps, and USPS customers with software licenses.

Licensing Operations witnessed an estimated 123% growth per year to support NetApp’s NFR (Not-for-Revenue) Licenses, Licensing Helpdesk, Entitlement Transfers, Software Transition Licenses, and Customer corner cases related to licenses. The team has built an internal Entitlement Management platform that allows Pre-Sales license procurement per business case, while maintaining stringent audit-trails.

The internal portal built from the ground-up is one of the top 3 most visited, providing licensing & entitlement services for NetApp’s core product offerings. It enables capabilities such as programmatic interfaces towards dynamic & automated license creation and distribution, trial license distribution and management, entitlement enforcement, and the operational aspects of customer Entitlement Transfers.  

In 2017, Rishi co-invented NetApp’s licensing technology to serve as a platform that can be leveraged by new and existing products with embedded microservices and entitlement enforcement capabilities.

Rishi grew up in New Jersey and has earned an Executive MBA in Management of Technology and a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of technology (NJIT), Newark, NJ.


Ariella Shoham

Ariella Shoham is the Senior Director of Marketing for the Software Monetization division at Gemalto. In this position Ariella leads a marketing team responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined marketing, communications and demand generation strategy in a manner that supports the consistent business growth and enhances brand equity and awareness for the company’s award-winning portfolio of Sentinel software licensing, and entitlement management solutions.

 

Ariella joined Gemalto (formerly SafeNet) in 2009 as the EMEA Field Marketing lead and then continued to lead the Global Field Marketing team in 2012, where she played a key role in creating market awareness and customer education during the launch of Gemalto’s Key strategic initiatives including Sentinel Cloud Services, Gemalto’s first cloud licensing offering and Sentinel Embedded Software Monetization Solutions – the only solution designed specifically for high tech device and equipment manufacturers.

 

Prior to Gemalto, Ariella held marketing leadership positions at various IT companies including IXI, Electronics line and Advanced Recognition Technologies. Ariella holds a Bachelor Degree in East Asian Studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a Masters in Business from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.


Oleg Pachkovets

Director of Technical Sales IoT Americas, Gemalto

With ten plus years of experience in worldwide IoT/M2M markets, Oleg oversees Gemalto Americas IoT/M2M technical sales, solutions, and services. He serves as team lead and has a strong technical and engineering background in IoT/M2M device, cloud, application management and development.


David Madden

Senior Director, IoT Business Development, Enterprise & Cybersecurity, Gemalto

David Madden is the Senior Director of IoT Business Development for Gemalto’s Enterprise & Cybersecurity Business Unit, where he works with the company’s strategic business partners to create security solutions that solve critical IoT problems from the device to the cloud. He has been involved in the security space for the past 19 years, working with the world’s largest cloud service providers, banks, governments, and ecommerce companies to help them secure their ebusinesses in areas of Security, ID Management, Access control, Encryption, & Web Services.


Sreedhar Tatavarthi

Director of Product Management, Gemalto

Sreedhar Tatavarthi has over 14 years of experience in the software industry with a primary focus on Software Monetization. He has worked in many different roles in both Product Management , Professional Services and Product Development. In his role as a Director of Product Management at Gemalto, he is responsible for promoting and driving the strategy for Software Monetization products targeted for enterprise customers. He is amazed by the transformation that many companies are going through and is passionate about helping them by offering best-in-class products and services.

He has a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Delaware and an MBA from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with daughter, reading, biking and loves golfing (although it doesn’t love him back).


Martin Pedersen

CEO, Stellar Agency – A digital Design Agency

Martin Pedersen is an 18-year Agency veteran, having worked with both small, medium, and enterprise clients providing online solutions for clients such as Nike, Yahoo!, Sony, NFL, HP, and Gemalto. For the last three years, Martin and Stellar have been heavily involved in providing customized front-end self-service solutions for clients in the Licensing space.


He is a well-rounded marketing and business leader with experience that includes leadership roles at both large and small digital agencies. He is known for gaining trust and respect from clients and team members alike, with a hands-on and attentive personal communication and leadership style.


Tom Minifie

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Tom Minifie is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. In his current role, Mr. Minifie is responsible for the strategic direction of the Company’s multiple product lines. Prior to his promotion to CTO, Mr. Minifie served as the Vice President of Product Management for AVST since its inception in 2003. Mr. Minifie is a recognized authority in the field of Unified Communications and a frequent speaker on the topic. Prior to joining the communications industry, Mr. Minifie held various product management positions within the high tech industry. Tom holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.

Pam Miller

Director of Infrastructure Channels Research in the Channels and Alliances Research group at IDC

Pam Miller is Director of Infrastructure Channels Research in the Channels and Alliances Research group at IDC, providing research-backed guidance to leading ICT vendors on indirect channel strategy. Ms. Miller’s core research covers the importance of IoT and advanced analytics to channel partners’ competitiveness and the relationship and interplay between IT distributors and their MSPs, VARs, SIs, and ISVs partners. She also offers guidance on vendors’ indirect go-to-market strategies, partnering policies and practices, and trends and market catalysts that impact the relationships between software vendors and their channel partners.

Ms. Miller has held executive and consulting positions with software, hardware and service companies. She has introduced indirect channels to many vendor companies, helping them increase their customer reach and profitability. Her previous positions include CEO of Rocket Network, one of the first cloud collaboration providers, President of Kensington Computer Products, GM of Alps USA Computer Products and Sr. Product Manager at Microsoft.

Ms. Miller has B.A. in psychology from UCLA and an M.B.A. in marketing and finance from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.


Phil Hansen

American Artist / Innovator

For the tens of millions who have seen Phil’s art on TV and online, it’s hard to imagine that his artistic journey nearly came to an end when a tremor developed in his drawing hand. Global Software Licensing Engineer with Viavi Solutions

Bob Irvine is a Global Software Licensing Engineer with Viavi Solutions. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1991 with a Masters degree in Electronic Engineering. After spending 19 years with Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies he transferred to Viavi (formerly JDSU) in 2010. During his early career, Bob worked on the launch and support of test equipment for mobile cellular R&D and manufacturing. He then spent 20 years as a Product Manager working on leading-edge RF test products for the deployment and optimization of wireless cellular networks before moving into the Operations function to focus on software licensing and monetization solutions.


Jim Kelley

Senior Operations Engineering Manager at Viavi Solutions

Jim Kelley is a Senior Operations Engineering Manager at Viavi Solutions with 30+ years Program Management, Operations, and Materials experience in technology driven high-growth firms. A long-running interest in and emphasis on process optimization has resulted in a wide variety of opportunities and assignments – including his current drive to deploy software licensing standardization at Viavi.


Vince Jannelli

Associate Vice President, Software Product Management, Sharp Electonics

Vince Jannelli has dozens of years of global experience in product, marketing and management in the B2B market and provides expertise on business development, vision and strategy creation. In his current role with SIICA, he is responsible for software product management, which encompasses device firmware, API’s, software & services, 3rd party alliances and IT/operational infrastructure.

Jannelli is known as a change agent with the ability to understand business and technical capabilities and develop new processes and business strategies. He has held positions of increasing responsibility throughout his career, working with a variety of channels, including distribution, SI/VAR, dealer network and retail.

Jannelli has done post-graduate work on Game Theoretical Applications in Macro economic policy at Bowling Green State University, and holds an M.S. in Management & Policy, a B.S. in Business Management and a B.A in Philosophy from Stony Brook University.

He currenty resides in NJ, was born in East Africa and spent most of his childhood and early adulthood in Italy where he developed a passion for soccer, Mediterranean cuisine and cultural perspective.


Yaz Nakayama

Yaz Nakayama is Associate Vice President, Strategy Development and Execution, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. Yaz is responsible for driving the strategic planning process to prioritize and execute key growth initiatives within the organization. Yaz has spent 13 years in business strategy consulting roles, most recently serving as a Director at BTS USA Ltd., a strategy and implementation firm using customized business simulations and experimental learning solutions to complement growth strategies. Prior to his tenure at BTS, Yaz served Fortune 500 clients as a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and ABeam Consulting.

Yaz holds a MBA degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business (University of Virginia) with an undergraduate degree from Hosei University in Tokyo.


Saura Naim

Since joining Juniper in 2005, Saura has repeatedly delivered complex, cross-functional business transformation while developing great teams and exceptional results that optimize, align and accelerate the execution of Juniper’s strategy.

Most recently she is helping Juniper move through the software-centric digital transformation by incubating and developing new ways to operate and execute.

Saura holds a MSM from Ben Gurion/Boston University, BA from SUNY Binghamton and completed the Stanford Executive Program in 2016.

Jason brings 23+ years of experience designing and developing award-winning web, mobile and tablet digital products and services. He focuses on integrating business objectives and target user needs to deliver innovative UX strategies that drive positive business results for the brand and create clear value propositions for target customers. Past clients include Nike, General Motors, Bank of America, HPE and Gemalto. For the last several years, Jason has been heavily involved in developing compelling user experiences for Software Monetization initiatives and platforms.
